NCRTC Consultant Electrical Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is a Joint Venture company of the Government of India and the participating State Governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Operating under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, NCRTC is responsible for implementing the Namo Bharat Project -- a dedicated, high-speed, rail-based commuter service connecting regional nodes across the National Capital Region. The Delhi-Meerut corridor has already been fully opened for commercial operations, and two more corridors (Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat-Karnal) are planned in the first phase. This is a re-employment opportunity for retired senior electrical professionals who want to contribute their expertise to one of India's most ambitious rapid transit projects.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a UGC-recognised university or an AICTE-approved institution.
• Experience: You need a minimum of 25 years of work experience in areas such as electrical utility shifting, contract management, preparation and drafting of bid documents, project planning (electrical), project execution, operation and maintenance, induction of new technology, strategic policy planning, and corporate-level exposure.
• Scale of Pay at Superannuation: CDA -- At least 6 years of service in pay scale Rs. 78,800-2,09,200 (Level 12) or above. IDA -- Rs. 90,000-2,40,000 (E6) or above.
• Note: Teaching or freelancing experience will not be counted as qualifying experience.
• Equivalence: If you are claiming equivalence in qualification, you need to produce the equivalence certificate.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 65 years as on 23 March 2026.
• There is no minimum age specified, but given the 25-year experience requirement, this post is meant for retired or senior professionals.

Salary

• You will receive a consolidated lump sum salary of Rs. 58,254 per month.
• This is a contractual engagement for 1 year, which may be extended based on your performance and the corporation's requirements.

Selection Process

Selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Document Verification: Your original certificates will be verified before the interview. You must carry all originals on the day of the interview -- without them, you will not be allowed to sit for the interview.
2. Interview: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and clear document verification will be called for a personal interview. The venue, date, and time will be communicated in advance.

5. Upload self-attested copies of your 10th certificate, degree certificate, PPO/superannuation order, last salary slip, and experience certificates.
6. Submit the application and download the form with your unique registration number.
