National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), a Joint Venture of the Government of India and the participating State Governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has released Vacancy Notice No. 19/2026 dated 18.05.2026. NCRTC is implementing the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) across three corridors — Delhi-Meerut (already in commercial revenue run), Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat-Karnal. This is a re-employment opportunity for retired engineers with deep experience in Telecom utility work who want to contribute to a flagship urban transport project.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Degree or 3-year Diploma in Engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical or Electronics from a UGC-recognised Indian University, UGC-recognised Indian Deemed University or AICTE-approved course from an Autonomous Indian Institution / concerned statutory council.

Essential Experience

• Minimum 20 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Should have superannuated from CDA Scale Rs. 67,700 - 208,700 (Level-11) or above, or IDA Scale Rs. 60,000 - 180,000 (E3) or above.
• Should have knowledge of Telecom systems.
• Teaching or freelancing experience will not be considered as qualifying experience.

Other Conditions

• The post is on re-employment basis — only retired/superannuated candidates from eligible scales are eligible.
• Candidates dismissed, removed or compulsorily retired from any government service or PSU are not eligible.
• Candidates convicted in a Court of Law for any offence involving moral turpitude are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 62 years as on 18 May 2026.
• No minimum age limit specified — the post is for retired/superannuated professionals.

Salary

• Lumpsum Remuneration: Rs. 75,200 per month (Level E2)
• HRA and other benefits as per Company Policy.
• The post is on contract for 1 year, extendable based on requirement and performance.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting: Based on eligibility, candidates meeting the criteria will be called for interview.
2. Document Verification: Done before the interview. Carry original certificates failing which you will not be allowed to attend.
3. Interview: The venue, date and time will be informed in advance. Requests for change of date or venue will not be entertained.

There is no written exam for this post — selection is interview-based after shortlisting.

• Conduct site survey and identify Telecom utilities on the RRTS alignment
• Correspond and hold meetings with utility-owning agencies and coordinate with other departments
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and estimates for Utility Diversion works
• Prepare tender documents for Utility Diversion contracts
• Process payments to utility owners and Utility Diversion contractors and maintain records
• Visit project sites in case of cable cut or failure situations
• Apply knowledge of Telecom systems to resolve field issues during construction and operation
• Work in shift operations as per business requirements at any office, workplace or Project unit of NCRTC
