Maharashtra Airport Development Company Ltd. (MADC), the State Principal Agency for Nagpur and Shirdi airports, has released a notification for 6 contractual posts across its airports at Ratnagiri, Nanded, Amravati, and Shirdi. This recruitment is for Chief Security Officer, Manager Safety, and Junior Engineer (Civil) roles with attractive monthly pay packages. Who Can Apply?

Chief Security Officer (2 posts)

• Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (minimum 3 years duration) from a recognised University. Ex-servicemen with graduation and 15 years of armed forces service (honourably discharged in the preceding 2 years with valid AvSec Certification) can also apply.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification AvSec / Airport security experience at Supervisor or higher level with Airport Operator / Aircraft operators / Defence / Army / Central Armed Police / Police Forces / Cargo Company / Aviation Logistics
• Certification: Valid Basic AVSEC certification and SMS required
• Preferred: NCC B/C certificate, knowledge of fire fighting, industrial security, disaster management, unarmed combat, armed forces / police background, and risk and compliance management
• Language: Knowledge of Marathi is essential; communication skills in English and Hindi required

Manager Safety (3 posts)

• Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Aviation Management, or Science, or equivalent from a recognised University
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of operational experience in aviation as aerodrome operator, Pilot, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Dispatcher, ATCO, operations/maintenance, or equivalent supervisory role
• Certification: Safety Management System (SMS) training as per CAR Section 1 Series C Part I; ICAO Annex 14, SMS and GRF certifications
• Additional: Minimum 3 years of safety/quality management experience in aviation including accident investigation, safety data analysis, risk assessment, and audits
• Language: Knowledge of Marathi is essential; MS Office proficiency required

Junior Engineer (Civil) (1 post)

• Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University
• Experience: More than 4 years of Civil Engineering experience, preferably in airport infrastructure and building, roads/highways (flexible and rigid pavements), and PEB structures
• Skills: Tender preparation, technical specifications, estimates, rate analysis, SSR and market rates analysis
• Software: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) essential; knowledge of latest AutoCAD preferred
• Language: Knowledge of Marathi is essential; English and Hindi communication required

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 45 years for all three posts
• Age limit and experience will be considered as on the date of advertisement (11 May 2026)
• Relaxation: Management may relax conditions relating to qualification, experience, and age for candidates already in service of MADC, Government of Maharashtra, Government of India, and Government undertaking companies

Salary

• Chief Security Officer: Rs. 80,000 per month (inclusive of all taxes)
• Manager Safety: Rs. 80,000 per month (inclusive of all taxes)
• Junior Engineer (Civil): Rs. 60,000 per month (inclusive of all taxes)
• All amounts are fixed and inclusive of all taxes - no separate allowances.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:

1. Document Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview on the basis of documents submitted. Verification happens only after qualifying for interview.
2. Personal Interview: Final selection list is prepared based on interview performance.
3. Document Verification: Original documents are verified before joining.
4. Police Verification: Selected candidates must produce a police verification and character certificate within 30 days of appointment.

Candidates currently working in Government organisations/undertakings must forward their application with a No Objection Certificate from their Head of the Department.

• Manage Safety Management System (SMS) implementation, accident/incident investigation, and risk assessments (Manager Safety)
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and distribute safety information as per DGCA guidelines
• Prepare tender documents, technical specifications, estimates, and rate analysis for civil engineering works (Junior Engineer Civil)
• Supervise airport infrastructure works including runways, taxiways, roads, highways, and PEB structures
• Coordinate with BCAS, DGCA, and other regulators for audits, inspections, and compliance
• Report directly to senior management at MADC and ensure smooth airport operations
