Who Can Apply?

Each of the three posts has its own qualification requirement, so check the one relevant to you carefully before applying.

For Para Pump Operator:

• You need at least Matriculation (10th pass) with an ITI Certificate in Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, or Pump Operator cum Mechanic trade from a recognized ITI. Matriculation with a certificate in these trades under the Skill Development Scheme also works.

For Para Fitter:

• You need at least Matriculation (10th pass) with an ITI Certificate in Fitter or Plumber trade from a recognized ITI, or Matriculation with a Skill Development Scheme certificate in these trades.

For Multi-Purpose Worker:

• You need a minimum of Middle Pass (8th Class) certificate showing marks obtained, from a school recognized by the State Government.

• Only Bonafide Himachal Pradesh domicile candidates can apply for these posts.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old as on 31 July 2026.

Salary

• Para Pump Operator and Para Fitter: Rs. 7,100 per month (honorarium, fixed)
• Multi-Purpose Worker: Rs. 6,000 per month (honorarium, fixed)
• These are engagement-based honorarium payments for six hours of work per day — not a regular pay scale with allowances.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on document scrutiny followed by a practical test:

1. Document Scrutiny: Your application and certificates are checked for eligibility.
2. Skill/Physical Test: Shortlisted candidates are called for a Skill Test that checks practical trade knowledge (for Para Pump Operator and Para Fitter) or a Physical Test that assesses fitness for manual work (relevant for Multi-Purpose Worker).
