Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day office support tasks at the High Court of Karnataka including delivering files, opening and closing rooms, and assisting court staff.
  • Keep court premises and offices clean and well-maintained as per the assigned duty.
  • Operate and assist with lift mechanisms (Lift Attender) safely during court working hours.
  • Carry out book binding and document binding work for the court library and registry (Assistant Binder).
  • Stitch and repair court uniforms and official cloth items as required (Tailor).
  • Wash, clean, and press court linen and uniforms (Dhobi).
  • Follow instructions of supervising officers and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of court documents and follow the High Court Service Rules.
