National Rural Livelihoods Mission Karnataka Cluster Supervisor - Skill Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

National Rural Livelihoods Mission Karnataka (NRLM Karnataka) has opened one Cluster Supervisor - Skill position in Chamrajnagar taluka. The role connects rural young people with skill training, helps programme partners organize mobilization and follows trainees from the first village meeting through placement.

This is a field-focused job covering villages, Gram Panchayats, blocks, training centres and placement follow-up. You will work with Project Implementing Agencies, community cadres, government teams, candidates and parents so that the training pipeline stays organized and every stage is recorded.

The work starts before mobilization with village information, data collection, skill-register maintenance and entries in Kaushal Panjee. It then moves through camps, counselling, candidate selection, travel support, training coordination, dropout follow-up, placement tracking and capacity-building workshops.

For mobilisation, you will prepare a monthly calendar of camps for blocks and Gram Panchayats, discuss targets with state and local teams and share training-centre, course and job-role details with field officials. You will help place information boards at district, block and GP offices, run meetings and door-to-door awareness work and organize mass camps where candidates and parents can understand the programme.

At the camp stage, PIAs explain courses and employment options, provide one-to-one counselling for candidates and parents and carry out aptitude assessment and selection. You will help report people who were not selected, maintain village wait-lists, share selected-candidate details and training dates with blocks and districts and support travel planning for residential training.

During and after training, the role keeps the support chain active. You will coordinate when a trainee faces difficulty, report the reason for every dropout, counsel people about rejoining and collect placement information from PIAs. Tracking covers employer contacts, candidate feedback, grievances, people who refuse or leave a job and special follow-up for placed women under programme guidelines.

The capacity-building part includes quarterly workshops for block officials, CRPs and VLOs. These sessions cover DDU-GKY basics, the roles of district and sub-district teams, mobilisation and screening, placement tracking and exposure visits to training centres or workplaces.

Who Can Apply?

The portal lists a simple degree condition but expects substantial field experience. You must have any graduation degree and at least three years of experience connected to skills, mobilisation, rural development, training, placement or a similar field.

  • Qualification: Any graduation degree.
  • Experience: More than 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Field readiness: Ability to travel across villages, blocks, Gram Panchayats, training centres and placement locations.
  • Coordination: Comfort working with PIAs, district and block officials, parents, candidates, employers and community cadres.
  • Data work: Ability to keep a skill register, maintain candidate records and enter or upload tracking information.
  • Counselling: Ability to explain training, job roles, opportunities and candidate entitlements in a clear way.

Your experience should help you manage the complete candidate journey, not only one training event. The job includes following non-selected candidates, encouraging dropouts to return, tracking placed candidates and recording feedback or grievances about training providers and employers.
