National Rural Livelihoods Mission Karnataka Cluster Supervisor Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
National Rural Livelihoods Mission Karnataka (NRLM Karnataka) has opened one Cluster Supervisor position in Gundlupet. This Level L 5 role provides day-to-day leadership for a cluster and supports the growth and long-term strength of community institutions.
You will report directly to the Executive Officer, TP or TPM and work within a wider reporting system that includes the State Mission Director, CEO-ZP, PD-DRDA and State Program Managers. The role needs regular field presence, close coordination and reliable reports rather than office-only supervision.
The supervisor helps organize women and vulnerable groups into functional community-level institutions. That includes people with disabilities, SC and ST communities and other under-served sections, while making sure livelihood planning and government schemes reach the intended groups.
In day-to-day work, you will coordinate with TMMU and TPM to carry out the cluster plan. Field visits help you see whether activities are reaching the right settlements, identify gaps early and bring practical issues back to the mission team instead of relying only on office reports.
Institution-building work includes helping communities prepare livelihood plans and run micro-credit meetings, micro-credit plans and CIF use. You will also connect groups with government entitlements and social safety-net schemes through convergence, so community institutions can use more than one department's support where it applies.
Data and reporting carry the same importance as field contact. The supervisor must make sure MIS entries at TMMU level are clean and timely, then prepare MPRs, QPRs and other reports. This information allows the Executive Officer and senior mission officials to follow progress, address delays and compare planned activities with work completed in the cluster.
You will also maintain working links with PRI institutions, line departments and non-government organizations. The job therefore suits someone who can listen to community members, coordinate across agencies, document decisions and keep follow-up moving until a service, scheme or livelihood activity reaches the intended group.
Who Can Apply?
You must be a graduate with at least 2 years of relevant experience gained after qualification. The portal also specifically asks for reading, writing and speaking ability in Kannada and English, plus knowledge of working with computers.
- Qualification: Graduation degree.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience.
- Languages: Ability to read, write and speak Kannada and English.
- Computer knowledge: Ability to work with computers and enter clean programme data.
- Field work: Readiness to make proactive visits throughout the assigned cluster or sub-block.
- Community coordination: Ability to work with women, vulnerable groups, PRI institutions, line departments and non-government organizations.
- Reporting: Ability to prepare MPRs, QPRs and other mission reports on time.
A strong application should connect your experience to community mobilization, rural livelihoods, micro-credit planning, government entitlements or MIS reporting. Since the role combines people-facing work and data quality, explain both your field achievements and your reporting responsibilities.
