National Rural Livelihoods Mission Karnataka Cluster Supervisor Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts
National Rural Livelihoods Mission Karnataka (NRLM Karnataka) has opened two Cluster Supervisor posts in Chamrajnagar. The Level L 5 role gives overall leadership to the assigned cluster and helps community institutions grow, function well and remain sustainable.
The supervisor reports directly to the Executive Officer, TP or TPM and also works within the reporting framework of the State Mission Director, CEO-ZP, PD-DRDA and State Program Managers. Regular travel in the cluster, coordination with mission teams and accurate reporting are central parts of the job.
You will help bring women and vulnerable communities, including people with disabilities, SC and ST groups and other under-served sections, into strong community institutions. The role also links those institutions with livelihoods planning, credit processes, entitlements and social-protection schemes.
The two supervisors will work closely with TMMU and TPM on planned cluster activities. Proactive field visits are important because the job requires direct contact with communities and an accurate view of what is working across the sub-block, not supervision based only on submitted figures.
A major part of the assignment is helping community institutions take part in livelihood planning and micro-credit processes. This includes supporting micro-credit meetings, development of credit plans and proper CIF use while keeping inclusion at the centre of each activity.
The post also acts as a link for government entitlements and social safety-net schemes. By coordinating convergence with PRI bodies, line departments and other organizations, the supervisor helps community institutions find and use services that support household security and livelihoods.
Reliable information is essential to that work. You must ensure clean and timely MIS entries at TMMU level and submit MPRs, QPRs and other reports. These records help mission leaders review cluster progress, understand where support is delayed and decide what follow-up is needed.
The reporting chain includes the Executive Officer, TP or TPM as the direct supervisor, along with senior district and state mission officials. A suitable applicant should be able to coordinate across these levels, communicate field issues clearly and turn agreed plans into tracked activities in Chamrajnagar communities.
Who Can Apply?
The basic qualification is graduation, but the job also needs proven field and reporting ability. You must have a graduation degree with at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Qualification: Graduation degree.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work completed after the qualifying degree.
- Language skills: Reading, writing and speaking ability in Kannada and English.
- Computer skills: Working knowledge of computers, including accurate programme-data entry.
- Field ability: Readiness to visit communities proactively across the cluster or sub-block.
- Institution building: Experience organizing women or vulnerable groups and strengthening community bodies.
- Reporting: Ability to prepare MPRs, QPRs and other relevant reports within deadlines.
Show experience that relates to rural livelihoods, community mobilisation, micro-credit, scheme convergence, MIS work or field programme management. Your profile should demonstrate that you can work with community members while also keeping data and reports dependable.
