IoP Assistant Professor and Reader HEP Recruitment 2026: Overview

Institute of Physics (IoP), Bhubaneswar is recruiting Assistant Professor (E) and Reader (F) faculty in High Energy Physics (HEP). This regular faculty recruitment is part of the institute's effort to broaden its research beyond existing strengths, with room for theoretical, experimental and connecting approaches. IoP is an autonomous research institution under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), with work spanning condensed matter, high energy and nuclear physics.

Posts and Disciplines

• Assistant Professor (E): A faculty appointment within the HEP programme at Bhubaneswar, intended to add research directions that complement the current group.
• Reader (F): A faculty appointment at the other advertised level within the same programme. The notice considers both levels under a shared research call.
