IIT Gandhinagar Project Associate I Recruitment 2026 — 1 Post

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, one of the newer IITs established in 2008 and located in Gujarat, has released Advertisement No. OTH/13470/Advt0154 dated 13 March 2026. This temporary project position is under the Center for Creative Learning (CCL), a centre that has engaged over 5 lakh online participants and conducted hands-on STEM workshops for 20,000+ teachers across India. The selected candidate will work under Prof. Manish Jain.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc./B.Des or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards
• Minimum 55% or equivalent grade in Class 10th and 12th

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience in mechatronics, electronics, mechanical, robotics, or product designing
• Understanding of mechanics and control system algorithms
• PCB designing and basic Arduino programming skills
• Experience with power tools and fabrication machines
• Familiarity with 2D and 3D CAD designing

Salary

• Monthly Pay: Rs 45,000 to Rs 70,000 per month
• Actual salary depends on your qualification and experience
• Tenure: 1 year (contractual)
