Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai), located at Vihar Lake Road, Powai, has released Advertisement No. Admn/Rectt/2026/12 dated 10 April 2026 for five non-teaching positions in its Wellness Centre and administrative departments. The appointment will be on a tenure/deputation/contractual basis for up to 5 years, extendable annually. Online applications are open from 10 April 2026 to 30 April 2026 (5:00 PM).

Who Can Apply?

Medical Officer (1 post)

• Qualification: MBBS Degree from a recognised university with 5 years of experience as a Medical Officer in a reputed hospital or dispensary; OR MD/MS in an appropriate branch of Medicine
• Desirable: Experience in institutes of repute such as IIMs, IITs, or other institutions of higher education/national importance
• Age: Preferably below 45 years

Nurse (2 posts)

• Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery with minimum 55% marks from a recognised Indian college of nursing or council
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in a reputed hospital, educational institution, government/PSU equivalent
• Desirable: Experience in institutes of repute like IIMs, IITs preferred
• Age: Preferably below 35 years

Junior Assistant — IT/Technical (2 posts)

• Qualification: BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/MCA in Computer Science or related field with 55% marks; OR B.Sc in Computer Science/IT or BCA with 55% marks; OR Diploma in Computer Science with 55% marks; OR ITI in Computer Science with 55% marks
• Experience: Freshers with BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/MCA are encouraged to apply. Diploma holders need 3 years of relevant experience. ITI holders need at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Age: Preferably below 30 years

Age Limit

• Medical Officer: Preferably below 45 years
• Nurse: Preferably below 35 years
• Junior Assistant (IT/Technical): Preferably below 30 years
• Age reference date is the closing date of application (30 April 2026)
• Age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen candidates as per government rules

Salary

• Medical Officer: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month (Pay Level 10, 7th CPC)
• Nurse: Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month (Pay Level 6, 7th CPC)
• Junior Assistant (IT/Technical): Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month (Pay Level 4, 7th CPC)
• Plus DA, HRA, and other allowances as per government/institute rules
• Note: The Institute may also consider hiring on a consolidated monthly remuneration basis at its discretion.

• General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 590 (non-refundable)
• SC / ST / PwD: No fee (fully exempted)

Selection Process

Selection will be through a screening and interview process:

1. Application Screening: Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test/interview. The Institute may restrict candidates to a maximum of five per post.
2. Written Test and/or Skill Test: May be conducted at the Institute's discretion for shortlisted candidates.
3. Interview: Final shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. Documents will be verified with original testimonials at this stage.
4. Document Verification: Candidates must bring all original certificates — degree, experience, age proof, etc. — along with one set of photocopies.

Note: Candidates in government/semi-government/PSU service must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer.

• Oversee the Institute's Wellness Centre and manage day-to-day health services for students and staff
• Provide medical care, first aid, and emergency assistance on campus
• Maintain health records, verify medical claims, and coordinate with hospitals
• Monitor campus sanitation, hostel and mess hygiene, and ensure medicines are stocked
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the Medical Officer (for Nurse posts)
• Perform routine procedures such as checking vital signs, administering injections, and maintaining patient charts
• Handle IT/technical support tasks and maintain computer systems for the Institute (for Junior Assistant IT/Technical posts)
• Report regularly to the designated authority and follow all Institute guidelines and safety protocols
