Who Can Apply?

Senior Manager (Infrastructure) - Pay Level 12

• Qualification: Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university with at least 60% marks.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Government / PSU / Industry with experience in Construction, Maintenance, and Project Management. Out of these, 3 years in Pay Level 11 (or equivalent) OR 5 years in Pay Level 10 in IIMs / IITs / CFTIs / Government Educational Institutions.

Senior Manager (Career Development Services) - Pay Level 12

• Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Management (MBA / PGDM) or equivalent from a recognised institution with 60% marks and a consistently good academic record.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in Central / State Government Department / Academic / Research Institution / other reputed Institution. Out of these, 3 years in Pay Level 11 OR 5 years in Pay Level 10 in IIMs / IITs / CFTIs.

Manager (Civil Infrastructure) - Pay Level 10

• Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a UGC / AICTE recognised institution with 60% marks. Master's degree preferable.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years administrative experience. Out of these, 5 years in Pay Level 7 OR 7 years in Pay Level 6 in Central / State Government / Academic / Research Institutions.
• 2-year relaxation in experience for candidates with Master's degree (60% marks).

Manager (IT) - Pay Level 10

• Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology / ECE OR MCA / M.Sc in Computer Science with at least 60% marks.
• Preferred: PG in CSE / IT, plus certifications like SAP / Oracle / PeopleSoft, ITIL, CCNA, Red Hat / Linux, AWS, Azure, or MCSE.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years administrative experience. Out of these, 5 years in Pay Level 7 OR 7 years in Pay Level 6 in Central / State Government / Academic / Research Institutions.

Candidates must be citizens of India. Internal IIM Mumbai candidates have no age bar.

Age Limit

• Senior Manager posts (Pay Level 12): Maximum age 50 years
• Manager posts (Pay Level 10): Maximum age 45 years
• Reference date: Closing date of applications (28 May 2026)
• Age Relaxation: Available for SC / ST / OBC / PwD / Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules.
• Departmental candidates: No age bar for persons currently working at IIM Mumbai.

Salary

• Senior Manager posts: Pay Level 12 of 7th CPC (Rs. 78,800 - Rs. 2,09,200 per month)
• Manager posts: Pay Level 10 of 7th CPC (Rs. 56,100 - Rs. 1,77,500 per month)
• Plus DA, HRA, and other allowances as per Central Government rules.
• The Institute may also consider hiring on a consolidated monthly remuneration basis.
• Accommodation: Campus accommodation may be provided subject to availability (electricity and water charges to be paid as actual).

• Internal IIM Mumbai candidates: No fee

Selection Process

The Institute may conduct one or more of the following stages for shortlisted candidates:

1. Screening / Shortlisting: A Screening Committee will shortlist applications based on qualification and experience. The Institute may restrict the number of candidates called for the next stage to a maximum of five (or fewer) per post.
2. Written Test: The Institute may decide to conduct a written test for shortlisted candidates.
3. Skill Test: A skill test may also be conducted depending on the post.
4. Interview: Final selection is based on interview performance.
5. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must bring all original certificates and one set of photocopies at the time of interview.

Mere fulfilment of minimum qualification does not entitle a candidate to be called for the next stage.
