IIM Calcutta Chief Administrative Officer Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), one of Asia's premier business schools located at Joka in Kolkata, is looking for a Chief Administrative Officer on a regular (permanent) basis through direct recruitment. This is a top-level administrative leadership role where you will head the entire non-academic operations of the institute. Salary
- Pay Level 13A: Rs. 1,31,100 to Rs. 2,16,600 per month under the 7th Central Pay Commission.
- Total minimum monthly emoluments (including DA, HRA, and other allowances): approximately Rs. 2,57,844 per month.
- You will also get DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, LTC, and other benefits as per IIM Calcutta rules.

Selection Process
Selection will be based on the following stages:

Responsibilities
- Lead and head the overall administrative operations of the institute
- Oversee statutory compliances, legal matters, and RTI responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Finance and Accounts Officer on budgeting and financial strategy
- Manage HR policies, performance reviews, and training for non-teaching staff
- Serve as Secretary to the Board of Governors and represent the institute before external bodies
- Supervise estate management, campus security, and hostel operations
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, legal counsel engagement, and staffing support
- Act as a member of key committees including Finance, Development, and Personnel Committees
