Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) Apprenticeship Recruitment 2026 - 44 Posts

Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI), Kolkata has released Advertisement No. N/022/2026 inviting applications for 44 Apprenticeship posts across 10 different programs at its 2nd Campus in New Town, Kolkata. These are training-cum-work engagements under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS), covering roles like Deputy Duty Manager, General Duty Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technician, Patient Counsellor, and Frontline Healthcare Associate. These are stipend-based apprenticeship programs, not regular government posts — the tenure ranges from 180 days to 37 months depending on the role. Candidates who have passed 10th, 12th (Science/Humanities), or hold a Graduate degree should apply based on their preferred program.

About NAPS: The National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme is a Government of India initiative that pairs young candidates with structured, on-the-job training at hospitals, factories, and offices while paying them a fixed monthly stipend. An apprenticeship is different from a regular government job — there is no automatic guarantee of permanent employment — but it gives you real hospital-sector work experience, hands-on skill training, and a stipend while you learn, which can be a strong stepping stone for your healthcare career.
