ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (ICAR-IVRI), Izatnagar has invited applications for a walk-in interview to engage 5 Young Professionals (YP-I/YP-II) across five different divisions and offices, purely on a contractual basis. The openings span Dairy Engineering, Dairy Chemistry, and three IT-related roles in the Joint Director (Research) office, the Nodal Cell & IQAC, and the Academic Coordinator/CoE office. No written exam is required — selection is based entirely on a walk-in interview. Graduates and postgraduates in relevant engineering, science, or computer application fields should attend on their assigned date. The engagement is initially for one year and can be extended based on your performance, but it does not entitle you to a regular appointment at ICAR-IVRI or ICAR at any point. Who Can Apply?

YP-II (Dairy Engineering):

• Under Graduate in Engineering/B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology, Dairy Science, Food Technology, Food Process Engineering, or Food & Nutrition.
• Preferred: M.Tech in a related field, or teaching/research/dairy/food industry experience.

YP-II (Dairy Chemistry):

• Post Graduate in Life Sciences, or Under Graduate in Veterinary Sciences, or B.Tech in Dairy Technology/Dairy Science/Food Technology/Food Process Engineering/Food & Nutrition.
• Preferred: M.Tech in a related field, or teaching/research/dairy/food industry experience.

YP-II (IT) - Office of Joint Director (Research):

• Graduate with at least 60% marks in Computer Applications/IT/Computer Science/AI/Operating Systems/Software Engineering/Computer Graphics with 1 year of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree in the same fields.

YP-I (IT) - Nodal Cell & IQAC:

• Graduate with at least 60% marks in Computer Applications/IT/Computer Science/AI/Operating Systems/Software Engineering/Computer Graphics.

YP-II (IT) - Academic Coordinator/CoE:

• Graduate with at least 60% marks in Computer Applications/IT/Computer Science/AI/Operating Systems/Software Engineering/Computer Graphics with 1 year of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree in the same fields.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 45 years old.
• Age Relaxation: As per ICAR O.M. dated 04.12.2020, relaxation applies as per rules for reserved categories.

Salary

• YP-I positions get a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 30,000 (consolidated).
• YP-II positions get a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 42,000 (consolidated).

Selection Process

The selection has just one stage:

1. Walk-in Interview: Selection is purely on merit basis from the interview. There is no written exam.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Employed candidates must bring a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer. Candidates reporting after the scheduled interview time on their date will not be considered, so plan to arrive early. Canvassing in any form will disqualify your candidature.

If selected, you can leave the assignment on your own by giving one month's prior notice, and ICAR-IVRI can also terminate the engagement at any time without assigning a reason, since this is a contractual, non-regular role.

How to Apply

2. Keep your experience certificates ready, if any, along with an NOC from your current employer if you are already employed.

4. Attend the walk-in interview — candidates reporting after the scheduled time will not be considered.
