ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (ICAR-IVRI) Young Professional-II Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (ICAR-IVRI), Izatnagar has announced a walk-in interview for 1 Young Professional-II post under the All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Pig. This is a temporary, project-based engagement at the Swine Production Farm of the institute, and it follows ICAR's simplified hiring process for Young Professionals — no written test and no online form is involved. You just need to walk in with your documents on the scheduled date. ICAR-IVRI, located at Izatnagar in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, is one of India's leading veterinary and animal science research institutes. The AICRP on Pig conducts applied research on pig breeding, feeding, and disease management to support India's livestock and piggery sector, and this role gives you hands-on exposure to that work.

ICAR-IVRI has been at the forefront of veterinary and animal science research in India for decades, working under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) — the apex body coordinating agricultural research nationwide. The AICRP on Pig is a multi-centre project that studies pig health, nutrition, and breeding to improve productivity for farmers and the broader piggery industry. Working as a Young Professional here gives you direct, practical exposure to field-level livestock research alongside experienced scientists.
