ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (ICAR-IVRI), Izatnagar, has announced a walk-in interview to fill 2 Young Professional-I (YP-I) positions under the ICAR-All India Network Project on Challenging and Emerging Diseases of Animals (AINP-CEDA), run by the Division of Pathology. This is a purely temporary, contractual engagement that runs co-terminus with the project, currently sanctioned up to September 2026 and likely to be extended till March 2027. No separate call letter will be issued for this interview, so mark the date on your calendar. Life science and veterinary graduates interested in animal disease research should apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Graduate in Veterinary Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or Biomedical Science.
• Desirable Experience: Virological techniques such as cell culture, embryonated egg inoculation, and molecular techniques in nucleic acid and protein research (cloning and expression).
• Desirable Skills: Performing immuno-assays like ELISA, LFA, and dot blot; computer skills in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint; conducting field investigations and sample collection from animals.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 45 years old as on the last date of submission of application.
• Age Relaxation: Available as per Government of India rules for reserved categories.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000 per month.
• This is a fixed monthly emolument for the duration of the project; no separate allowances have been mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through a single stage:

1. Walk-in Interview: Held in person at the Division of Pathology, ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar, Bareilly on 15 July 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards. No separate call letter will be issued.
