Advertisement No. IBPS/2026-27/01 is for Division Head (Financial & Allied Services) & CFO on fixed-term full-time contract basis. Both posts are based at IBPS, Mumbai and use the same online application portal.

Who Can Apply?

Deputy Manager - Accounts

• Age: 23 to 30 years as on 01 May 2026.
• Qualification: You must be a Chartered Accountant.
• Experience: Preferably 1 year in finance, accounts, taxation, investment, fund management or related work.
• Computer knowledge: Competency in operating computers is essential.

Division Head (Financial & Allied Services) & CFO

• Age: 50 to 61 years as on 01 May 2026.
• Qualification: Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce from a recognised institution/university, preferably with CAIIB; a qualified Chartered Accountant is also eligible.
• Experience: You need 20 to 25 years of experience in finance, accounts, taxation, internal audit, budget, recovery, investment, purchases or allied work.
• Preferred profile: Retired GM of a Public Sector Bank or equivalent organisation, or someone who worked as CFO / DGM / GM in Accounts for at least 3 years before retirement.
• Computer knowledge: Good knowledge of MS Office is necessary.

Age Limit

• Deputy Manager - Accounts: 23 to 30 years as on 01 May 2026.
• Division Head & CFO: 50 to 61 years as on 01 May 2026.
• Date of birth and all eligibility details must be supported by uploaded documents and originals during selection.

Salary

• Deputy Manager - Accounts: Basic pay Rs. 44,900; total starting monthly emoluments about Rs. 91,070; annual CTC about Rs. 17.28 lakh.
• Division Head & CFO: Approximate annual CTC is Rs. 30.90 lakh on fixed-term contract.
• Other benefits for each post will follow the applicable IBPS rules and contract/appointment terms.

• Deputy Manager - Accounts: Rs. 1,000 application/intimation charges, payable online from 06 May 2026 to 20 May 2026.
• Division Head & CFO: No application fee is prescribed.
• Bank transaction charges, where applicable, must be paid by the candidate.

Selection Process

Deputy Manager - Accounts

1. Online Examination: Objective test for 200 marks.
2. Group Exercises: Candidates shortlisted from the online exam may be called for group exercise.
3. Personal Interview: Final assessment by IBPS.
4. Medical Fitness and Police Verification: Required before joining.

Division Head & CFO

1. Scrutiny of Applications: IBPS checks minimum eligibility and uploaded documents.
2. Shortlisting: Suitable candidates are shortlisted for the selection process.
3. Interview: Selection will be conducted by IBPS at Mumbai.
4. Document, Medical and Police Verification: Required before appointment.

Exam Pattern for Deputy Manager - Accounts

• Reasoning: 50 questions, 50 marks, 35 minutes.
• English Language: 50 questions, 25 marks, 35 minutes.
• Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions, 50 marks, 35 minutes.
• Professional Knowledge: 50 questions, 75 marks, 50 minutes.
• Total: 200 questions, 200 marks, 155 minutes.
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
