BOB Senior Manager Backlog Recruitment 2026: Overview
Bank of Baroda (BOB), one of India's largest public sector banks, is running a Special Recruitment Drive to fill officer posts that were reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates but stayed unfilled in earlier rounds. The openings sit in three head-office functions — Risk Management, MSME Banking and Finance — and run from Manager up to Chief Manager grade.
These are regular, permanent officer jobs, not contract roles. They suit working professionals from banks, NBFCs, audit firms and fintech teams who already have a few years of domain experience and want a long-term public sector banking career.
All eight positions come under one advertisement, BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/19, and share a single online form. You can pick only one position, so match your experience to the right post before you apply.

The Manager - Digital Fraud post is the only one open to younger IT and data science graduates; the other seven need a CA, MBA/PGDM or long banking experience.
Post-wise Duties
Senior Manager - Project Finance – Infrastructure & ESG
You will independently assess infrastructure loan proposals, help write lending policy and pricing, and build ESG and sustainability checks into credit appraisal. You will also study stressed sectors and suggest exit plans to cut risky exposure.
Senior Manager - MSME Credit Risk Management
You will evaluate MSME loan proposals, run sector analysis and stress tests for capital adequacy, and track how each division uses its allotted credit risk capital.
Senior Manager - Enterprise and Operational Risk Management
You will look after the bank's enterprise risk framework, set risk limits, design board-level risk dashboards, and work on CRAR, ICAAP and Pillar III exercises. New products also pass through you for an operational risk review before launch.
Senior Manager - Fraud Incidence and Root Cause Analysis
You will dig into frauds, digital risk events and regulator-ordered complaints to find why they happened, manage loss data as per RBI rules, and report control gaps to top management.
Manager - Digital Fraud
You will design and fine-tune fraud detection rules for debit cards, internet and mobile banking, IMPS and UPI, write strategies in SAS/SQL, read system logs to confirm frauds, and build dashboards for the business.
Senior Manager - MSME Relationship
You will find new MSME customers, deepen ties with existing ones, meet revenue and volume targets, cross-sell other products, and chase long-pending dues.
Senior Manager - Business Finance
You will give business heads the financial MIS they need, support the funds transfer pricing framework, help with budgets and capital allocation, and advise verticals on accounting policies.
Chief Manager - Internal Controls
You will maintain the bank's internal controls framework, oversee internal financial controls on reporting, review the general ledger for revenue leakage, and work with statutory auditors on IFC audits.
Service Conditions and Caveats

- Serving employees: If you work in a government office, PSU or nationalised bank, bring a No Objection Certificate to the interview and a relieving letter at joining.
