Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Maharatna Company and a premier aeronautical industry of South Asia, has released advertisement no. IHC/HR/25/15/2026 dated 27/05/2026 for engagement of one Refractionist at its Industrial Health Center, Bangalore. The position is on Part Time / Visit Basis initially for 2 years, renewable at the discretion of the Management. Candidates with an Ophthalmic Assistant Diploma and prior experience in refraction work can apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: SSLC / PUC with Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant Course from a recognised institution.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in the discipline (as on 01/05/2026).
• Tenure: Initially for a period of 2 years, renewable at the discretion of the Management.

• Maximum age: Preferably below 40 years (as on 01/05/2026)

Selection Process

• Perform refraction tests and assist the ophthalmologist with vision examinations at HAL Industrial Health Center

• Assist in pre-operative and post-operative ophthalmic procedures when required
