Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Navratna PSU and India's leading engineering consultancy company with operations in over 13 countries, has released Advertisement HRD/Rectt./Advt./2026-27/03 for 10 Deputy Manager (Inspection) posts. The recruitment covers 7 Mechanical and 3 Electrical positions for inspection of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, motors, transformers, and other equipment used in refineries, petrochemicals, pipelines, and offshore projects. Selection is by Personal Interview only — no written exam.

Who Can Apply?

For Deputy Manager (Inspection) - Mechanical:

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 65% marks (full-time regular course only)
• Experience: 4 years of post-qualification experience in inspection of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns/towers, reactors, and other major fabricated static equipment as per ASME, or pumps/compressors as per API codes
• Desirable: Sound knowledge of welding processes; NDT qualification (ASNT Level II / Level III) in RT, UT, PT, MT methods; CSWIP/AWS welding qualification

For Deputy Manager (Inspection) - Electrical:

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical Engineering with minimum 65% marks (full-time regular course only)
• Experience: 4 years of post-qualification experience in inspection of switchboards, motors, transformers, alternators, generators, VFDs, UPS, control systems, battery chargers, power and control cables
• Essential Knowledge: IEC, NEC, IS codes
• Desirable: Flame proof design certification; knowledge of field instruments, DCS, PLC, SCADA systems

Relaxation in experience: 1 year for Post-graduates in relevant engineering; 4 years for Ph.D. in relevant engineering.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 32 years as on 31 March 2026
• Age Relaxation:
• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PwD - General/EWS: 10 years
• PwD - OBC (NCL): 13 years
• PwD - SC/ST: 15 years
• Ex-Servicemen and Departmental candidates also get age relaxation as per rules

Salary

• Pay Scale: Rs. 70,000 - 2,00,000 (IDA pattern)
• Approximate Total CTC: Rs. 23.31 lakh per year (calculated on basic pay at the lowest of the scale)
• CTC includes Basic Pay, DA, HRA, Other Perks & Allowances, leave encashment, and retirement benefits
• Post-Retirement Medical Coverage Scheme applicable for candidates aged 45 or below at joining

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:

1. Shortlisting: EIL may shortlist based on percentage of marks in qualifying examination and relevance of experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed by email.
2. Personal Interview: Conducted at New Delhi or Gurugram, or through video conferencing. Mode and venue will be intimated separately to shortlisted candidates.
3. Document Verification: All original certificates (age proof, education, experience, pay slips, caste certificate if applicable) must be presented at the time of interview.

Outstation candidates called for in-person interview are entitled to second-class AC sleeper rail fare from their mailing address by the shortest route.

• Inspect pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, pumps, and compressors as per ASME/API codes (Mechanical role)
• Inspect electrical equipment such as switchboards, motors, transformers, alternators, VFDs, UPS, and cables (Electrical role)
• Verify welding procedures, weld quality, and NDT reports (RT, UT, PT, MT) at vendor shops and project sites
• Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for refinery, petrochemical, and pipeline equipment
• Prepare inspection reports, deviation notes, and quality clearance documents for client and EIL records
• Coordinate with vendors, project teams, and client representatives across EIL offices in Delhi, Gurugram, Chennai, Vadodara, Kolkata, and Mumbai
• Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, IS, and other applicable national and international codes
• Travel to inspection offices and construction sites in India and abroad as per project requirements
