EdCIL (India) Limited, a Mini Ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Government of India, has released Advt. No. TSG/Autism/Multidisciplinary-Team/2026-01 dated 22 May 2026 for engagement of multi-disciplinary staff and Project Management Unit (PMU) consultants. All posts are purely on contractual basis, and selected candidates will work in Autism Centers across municipalities of Andhra Pradesh as approved by the State Project Director (Inclusive Education-PM SHRI). The recruitment covers 7 multidisciplinary roles with 125 posts each, plus 4 PMU Consultant posts. No application fee is required for any of the posts.

Who Can Apply?

Occupational Therapist (125 posts):

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution
• Valid registration/license to practise as an Occupational Therapist in India
• Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills

Physiotherapist (125 posts):

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution
• Valid professional registration/license

Psychologist (125 posts):

• M.A./M.Sc in Psychology (Clinical / Counselling / Developmental Psychology preferred) from a recognised university
• Experience in psychological assessments and behavioural therapies

Speech Therapist (125 posts):

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology
• Mandatory valid RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration
• Proficiency in Telugu and English
• Experience working with children with Autism preferred

Clinical Psychologist (125 posts):

• Post Graduation in Clinical Psychology from an RCI-recognised institution
• Mandatory valid RCI registration
• Proficiency in Telugu is an added advantage

Special Educator - Secondary Level (125 posts):

• Bachelor's Degree + B.Ed. (Special Education), OR
• Bachelor's Degree + B.Ed. (General) with 1-year Diploma in Autism/Intellectual Disability, OR
• Bachelor's Degree + B.Ed. (General) with D.Ed. in Autism/Intellectual Disability
• Must be RCI-recognised with valid CRR number
• Must have qualified AP TET (Paper-2B) or CTET in Special Education

Special Educator - Primary Level (125 posts):

• Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from a recognised Board
• Must have a 2-year Diploma in Special Education (Autism/Intellectual Disability) recognised by RCI with valid CRR number
• Must have qualified AP TET (Paper-1B) or CTET in Special Education

PMU Consultant (4 posts):

• Ph.D./M.Phil in Clinical Psychology/Psychology/Special Education
• Ph.D. in the field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities is desirable
• Expertise in report writing and strong communication skills is mandatory

The cut-off date for age, qualification, and experience is 30 April 2026. Only Indian Nationals are eligible.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 45 years (for all posts) as on 30 April 2026
• Experienced candidates will be given added advantage in the relevant field

Salary

• Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Speech Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Special Educator (Secondary): Rs. 30,000 per month
• Special Educator (Primary Level): Rs. 25,000 per month
• PMU Consultant: Rs. 55,000 per month

The engagement is purely contractual. Extension depends on the needs of the Inclusive Education-PM SHRI programme and individual performance.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Screening and Shortlisting: Based strictly on details and documents provided in the online application form (academic and professional qualifications)
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview on prescribed date and time. Interview letters are sent only by e-mail to shortlisted candidates.
3. Document Verification: Original documents for qualifications, age, and experience must be produced when called for interview

Merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.

• Assess and provide therapy services to children with Autism and developmental disorders at the assigned Autism Centre
• Conduct psychological assessments, behavioural therapies, and counselling sessions as per the candidate's specialisation
• Prepare individualised education and rehabilitation plans for children with disabilities
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and case files for each child
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside therapists, special educators, and PMU consultants
• Educate and counsel parents and family members on home-based therapy and care strategies
• Report progress to the Inclusive Education-PM SHRI authorities and follow programme guidelines
