Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to the assigned division on court cases and legal issues
- Coordinate with lawyers, panel counsels and arbitrators for ongoing matters
- Prepare draft replies, counter replies and legal records for court proceedings
- Attend court hearings at central and state level when required
- Monitor ongoing court cases and keep updated status reports
- Follow directions issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice from time to time
- Analyse legal issues and recommend practical action to the division head
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
LLB degree with minimum 60% marks from a Government of India recognised college or university; 5-year integrated LLB also eligible
Preferred Qualification
LLM degree preferred
Required Skills
