Service Conditions and Caveats

• Temporary status: joining does not give you a right to a regular appointment or continued service. The residency scheme and the applicable temporary-service rules govern the engagement.
• Specialist-linked posts: these appointments end when the relevant specialist position is filled. Check this condition for your department before accepting an offer.
• Reserved positions: when suitable reserved-category applicants are unavailable, the hospital may temporarily appoint a general-category doctor until a regular candidate in that category joins, or for 89 days, whichever is earlier.
• Availability: the hospital will fill posts in phases, and the position available on the interview day may differ from the advertised position. Disability reservation follows government rules.
• Ending the appointment: either side may end the engagement with seven days’ notice. No notice is needed for termination on disciplinary grounds.
• Travel: you will not receive TA/DA for attending the interview. The competent authority may change or cancel the advertisement.
