Post-wise Duties

Junior Engineer Civil

You will supervise campus civil works, help prepare estimates and bills, and support e-tendering and tender scrutiny. Your work may involve university buildings, utilities and other infrastructure assigned by the administration.

Lower Division Clerk

You will handle office files and digital records, prepare routine correspondence, enter data and support day-to-day administrative work. The role needs careful record-keeping and dependable computer use.

Kitchen Attendant

You will help with food preparation and catering service, keep utensils and work areas clean, and support cooks during regular campus or guest-house operations. Hygiene and safe handling of kitchen equipment are central to the role.

Laboratory Attendant

You will arrange science laboratory materials, help staff prepare practical workspaces, maintain basic stock records and keep benches and equipment ready for use. You will also follow the laboratory's safety and storage instructions.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Mixed appointment basis: the Junior Engineer Civil role is contractual, while the Group C roles are under direct recruitment.
• Contract terms: the Junior Engineer engagement gives no claim to regular appointment or continued service, and the university may end it early for unsatisfactory performance, misconduct or administrative reasons.
• Regular service: appointees to regular roles are governed by the National Pension System and the service rules followed by the university, UGC and Government of India.
• Shortlisting: meeting the minimum standard does not guarantee a test or interview call; the university may use higher qualifications or experience to limit the shortlist.
• Current employees: people already in service should apply through the proper channel and must provide a No Objection Certificate and vigilance-related clearance when asked.
• Post availability: the university may increase, reduce, withdraw or leave a notified position unfilled, and its decision on the recruitment process is final.
• Travel support: specified outside candidates from reserved disability categories may receive eligible second-class rail or ordinary bus fare under university rules.
