CSIR-IIIM Project Associate-I Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

Who Can Apply?

PA-01 Scientific Discipline Posts

• Qualification: You need M.Sc., M.S., or M.Pharm in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Plant Sciences, or another relevant scientific discipline.
• Preferred Experience: Research experience or knowledge in Organic Synthesis, Natural Products Chemistry, Plant Sciences, or related areas will help.
• Higher Stipend: You can get the higher stipend if you have qualified CSIR-UGC, ICAR, ICMR NET, GATE, or equivalent national-level exams.

PA-02 Computer Science / Project Administration Post

• Qualification: You need B.E., B.Tech, or MCA in Computer Science from a recognised university, or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferred Skills: The notice prefers proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, GeM procurement, office management software, project records, reports, and digital tools used in an R&D environment.
• Work Skills: Good communication, coordination, documentation, organisation, procurement, and inventory management skills are expected.
• Project Setting: The work is for CSIR-funded project MMP-075201, so you should be ready for project timelines, reporting, and periodic performance review.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: Maximum age is 35 years for both position codes.

Salary

• Higher Stipend: Rs. 31,000 per month plus HRA for NET/GATE or equivalent qualified candidates covered under category (a).

• HRA: House Rent Allowance is paid only if institutional accommodation is not availed or provided.
• Temporary Post: The stipend is tied to the project position and does not create any claim for permanent CSIR-IIIM or CSIR appointment.
