Central Agricultural University, Imphal (CAU Imphal) has invited applications for 1 Medical Attendant post at its College of Horticulture campus in Bermiok, Sikkim. CAU Imphal is a central university that runs agriculture, horticulture, veterinary and fisheries colleges across India's North Eastern states, and the College of Horticulture at Bermiok is one of its constituent campuses in Sikkim. This is a purely contractual engagement for 179 days and does not carry any claim to a regular appointment at the university. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need 10+2 from a recognized Board or Institution.
• Training: You must also hold a certificate in the Paramedical Workers Training Course, or a Multipurpose Health Worker course, from a recognized institute.
• Desirable: Knowledge of English, Hindi and the local language is preferred but not mandatory.

Age Limit

• You should be below 25 years of age as on the date of the interview (04 August 2026).
• If you are already employed elsewhere (government or private), you must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer at the time of the interview.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 21,700 per month for the duration of the contract.
• No other allowances are mentioned for this post, and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process

Selection happens in 2 stages:

1. Document Verification: You must report with all original certificates, mark sheets, biodata and photograph for verification.
2. Interview: Candidates who clear document verification are interviewed on the spot.

Mere fulfilment of the minimum qualification does not guarantee selection — the college can call only as many candidates as needed based on qualifications and suitability.
