Central Agricultural University was set up on 26 January 1993 under an Act of Parliament, with its headquarters at Imphal, Manipur. It is the only central university dedicated to agricultural education across seven North Eastern states, including Tripura, and runs 13 constituent colleges covering agriculture, fisheries, veterinary science, horticulture and home science. The College of Fisheries at Lembucherra, Tripura (West) is one of these constituent colleges, and it is now looking to fill 1 Project Assistant post under a research project titled "Conservation and Domestication of Wild Mushrooms of Tripura, North East India." Since this is a project-funded position, the appointment is co-terminus with the project — your engagement continues only as long as the project runs. This is a good opportunity for life-science graduates who are interested in field research, mushroom biology and conservation work in the North East.

Who Can Apply?
