Post-wise Duties

Steam Turbine Generator Consultant

You will guide site teams through turbine generator erection, alignment and commissioning, helping resolve technical problems as they arise. Your work includes checking engineering drawings, planning the order of activities and witnessing key work at the site.

You will also help assess test results and performance compliance. The assignment continues through performance guarantee testing and plant handover, with technical reports and recommendations supporting final acceptance.

Boiler Consultant

You will provide hands-on guidance for boiler erection, alignment, testing and commissioning. This includes reviewing the engineering drawings, supporting the sequence of site activities and helping teams solve equipment or performance problems.

Your advice will support safe work, quality and plant performance. You will help check test records and support performance guarantee tests before the boiler plant is handed over.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Assignment periods: The Dolvi engagement runs for 13 months and the Bina engagement for 19 months. Extensions may be granted for up to one year at a time or until the assignment ends, whichever comes first.
• Further project work: After the assignment, BHEL may extend your services to another ongoing or upcoming project if needed. The notice limits the overall tenure to five years, subject to its retirement-age condition.
• Confidentiality: You must sign BHEL's confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement. A binding confidentiality agreement with your previous employer can make you ineligible under this notice.
• Clearance: BHEL will seek vigilance clearance for the specified retired public-sector and government applicants before making an offer.
• Application communication: Keep the email account used for your application active for at least six months. BHEL will use email for important recruitment communications.
• Provisional consideration: Your candidature remains subject to meeting all advertised conditions. BHEL may cancel, restrict or reopen the recruitment, or change the number of openings, without a further notice.
