Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot is hiring a Photographer Junior on a regular basis under Advt. No. BFU-26/12. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has released a fresh recruitment notification for the post of Photographer Junior at the University. This is a Class III (Group C) technical support post at one of Punjab's top state health universities. Only candidates with a Diploma in Photography and prior experience need apply - this is a specialised role and not open to general 12th pass candidates without the diploma.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or its equivalent from a recognised Board.
• Technical Qualification: Two years Diploma in Photography from a recognised institute.
• Essential Experience: Two years of experience as a Photographer in a Government Institution or Studio.
• Punjabi Language: You must have passed Punjabi up to Matriculation standard or equivalent. If you do not have it, you must acquire it within six months of joining.
• Disqualification Bar: You should not have been previously disqualified by PPSC, UPSC, any other State Public Service Commission or any Government Department.
• Legal Status: No legal or criminal proceedings should be initiated or pending against you.

Age Limit

• Age limit is as per Punjab Government rules for Class III / Group C posts in BFUHS.
• Age relaxation will be given to SC, ST, BC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen, PwD and other reserved categories as per Punjab Government norms.
• Government employees must apply through proper channel.

Salary

• Pay will be as per the Punjab Government Pay Scales applicable to Class III / Group C non-teaching posts at BFUHS.
• You will also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Government of Punjab rules issued from time to time.

• Take professional photographs at university events, academic functions, convocations and official ceremonies
• Cover medical and clinical photography needs of the university's constituent colleges and hospitals when required
• Maintain a proper photo library and digital archive of all university events and activities
• Edit, process and prepare prints, digital files and photo albums for official records and publications
• Operate and maintain photographic equipment, cameras, lighting setups and editing software
• Coordinate with the public relations and publications cell for press releases, university newsletters and the website
• Keep a record of stock, equipment and consumables and ensure timely indents for new supplies
