Who Can Apply?

For Research Associate-I (Rs. 58,000/month):

• You need a PhD in Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Plant Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• You must have at least 2 publications in SCI-indexed journals.
• Research experience in genomics, GWAS/QTL analysis, plant-pathogen interactions, or plant phenotyping is preferred but not mandatory.

For Project Associate (Rs. 25,000-31,000/month):

• You need a Master's degree in Life Sciences, Agricultural Science, Biotechnology, or an allied subject.
• Candidates who cleared CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship) or GATE also qualify.

For Field/Lab Assistant and Field/Lab Worker (Rs. 20,000/month):

• You need a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Agricultural Science, Biotechnology, or an allied subject.
• A Diploma in Engineering/Technology in Agricultural Science or Biotechnology is also accepted.

Age Limit

• Research Associate-I: up to 40 years
• Project Associate: up to 35 years
• Field/Lab Assistant and Field/Lab Worker: up to 50 years
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwD and women candidates get relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Research Associate-I: Rs. 58,000 per month plus HRA.
• Project Associate: Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 31,000 per month plus HRA, depending on NET/GATE qualification.
• Field/Lab Assistant and Field/Lab Worker: Rs. 20,000 per month plus HRA.
• All emoluments follow DST guidelines for project staff.

Selection Process

Selection is based on a single stage:

1. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a walk-in or online interview, depending on the post. Field/Lab Assistant and Field/Lab Worker posts require an in-person walk-in interview only — requests for online interviews will not be entertained for these two posts.
