COEP Technological University (COEP Tech), Pune — the Maharashtra government's unitary public university that grew out of the 1854-founded College of Engineering Pune — wants a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for battery research. • Selection route: you must have come through a national test such as CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship) or GATE, or another national-level exam run by a central department like DST, DBT, DAE or DRDO.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The job is temporary and ends with the ANRF-PAIR project (2025–2030), on its completion, or when funds run out.
• No permanent claim: Working on this project gives you no right to a regular post at COEP Tech.
• Lower designation: If you do not meet the mandatory qualifications, the university may still consider you for a lower research designation, with title and pay set by institute and funding agency rules.
• Non-vacational post: The position does not follow the academic vacation calendar, as per COEP Tech and ANRF norms.
• Approval and affidavit: An offer is issued only after legal vetting and approval by the university, and you sign an affidavit accepting the project terms when you join.
• Interview travel: No TA or DA is paid for coming to the interview in Pune.
