Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) is conducting a walk-in interview for 10 temporary teaching posts in its North Coastal Zone. ANGRAU North Coastal Teaching Recruitment 2026 - 10 Posts

Who Can Apply?

Agriculture Teaching Assistant

You need a four-year B.Sc. (Agriculture) degree from an ICAR-accredited university or college. The notice does not prescribe prior experience for these five posts.

Agricultural Engineering Teaching Associate

You need a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering, or a Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering supported by a four- or five-year bachelor's degree with first division or an equivalent overall grade point average. Master's degree candidates also need at least 3 years of relevant teaching or research experience, evidenced by fellowship, associateship, training or other engagements.

• You must have at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed journal or a NAAS-rated journal with a rating of 4.0 or above.
• A candidate with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences after a three-year bachelor's degree and two-year master's degree must also have NET qualification.
• All relevant degrees must be from ICAR-accredited universities or colleges.

Agricultural Engineering Teaching Assistant

You need a four-year B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) degree from an ICAR-accredited university or college. No separate experience period is stated for the three Teaching Assistant posts.

Age Limit

• Teaching Associate: Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women.
• Teaching Assistant: Upper age limit 35 years.
• Reference date: The interview date, 27 August 2026.

Salary

Teaching Associate HRA follows the existing state-government rate applicable at the place of posting. The Teaching Assistant amount is consolidated pay without a separate HRA component. No TA or DA will be paid to applicants for attending the interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

ANGRAU will use a walk-in interview, document verification and medical-fitness requirement. The official notice does not announce a written exam, syllabus, marks distribution or negative marking.

1. Eligibility and document check: Officials verify the originals, self-attested copies and post-specific qualifications.
2. Walk-in interview: Candidates meeting the criteria are interviewed at RARS Anakapalle on 27 August 2026.
3. Medical examination: A selected candidate must complete the prescribed fitness examination at their own expense before appointment.
