No. BFU-26/20) to fill 454 Pharmacist (Pharmacy Officer) posts on a regular basis for the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Punjab. This includes 348 fresh posts and 106 backlog posts, with 118 posts reserved for women. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) with Science from a recognised board, plus a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), B.Pharm or Pharm-D from a recognised institution.
• Registration: You must be registered with the Punjab Pharmacy Council under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
• Punjabi Language: You must have passed Punjabi up to Matriculation (10th) standard.
• Preference may be given to candidates with higher pharmacy qualifications such as M.Pharm.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 37 years (as per Punjab Government rules).
• Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation is allowed for SC/BC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen and other reserved categories as per Punjab Government rules.
• Candidates who have worked on a contract basis in the same Pharmacy Officer post at BFUHS or its constituent colleges/institutes/hospitals get age relaxation equal to the period worked.

Salary

• Starting pay: Rs. 29,200 per month (entry pay, Pay Level 5 as per 7th CPC).
• Pay scale ranges from Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 per month as per the Punjab Government 7th CPC pay matrix.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Punjab Government rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through the following stages:
