BEML Limited (a Govt of India Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence) has released notification Advt. No. KP/S/06/2026 for 27 Executive posts across 21 position codes for various systems of High-Speed Rail under the R&D Domain. The posts are spread across grades from Engineer (Grade-II) to Senior Manager (Grade-V). Only experienced candidates with relevant railway rolling stock or system engineering background can apply. The roles cover interface design, RAMS, signalling, carbody, FEA, CFD, mechanical design, doors, HVAC, brakes, and outfitting for high-speed trains.

Who Can Apply?
Educational Qualification (Mandatory)
- Engineer / Manager / Senior Manager (Rollingstock posts): Full-time, First-Class B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Automobile, or related discipline (preferably Electrical/Mechanical) from a recognised University/Institution.
- Carbody, FEA, CRASH, CFD posts: Full-time, First-Class B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering or Rail Vehicle Technology.
- First Class: 60% aggregate (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD).
Desirable
- M.E./M.Tech in relevant areas will be an advantage.
Post Qualification Experience (PQE) Required
- Engineer (Grade-II): Minimum 2 years
- Assistant Manager (Grade-III): Minimum 4 years
- Manager (Grade-IV): Minimum 8 years
- Senior Manager (Grade-V): Minimum 11 years
Age Limit
- Engineer (Grade-II): Up to 29 years
- Assistant Manager (Grade-III): Up to 30 years
- Manager (Grade-IV): Up to 34 years
- Senior Manager (Grade-V): Up to 39 years
- Age is calculated as on 14 May 2026.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years extra for PwD candidates.
- Maximum age with relaxation cannot exceed 57 years.
Salary
- Engineer (Grade-II): Rs. 40,000 - 1,40,000 per month
- Assistant Manager (Grade-III): Rs. 50,000 - 1,60,000 per month
- Manager (Grade-IV): Rs. 60,000 - 1,80,000 per month
- Senior Manager (Grade-V): Rs. 70,000 - 2,00,000 per month
- You will also get Variable Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Provident Fund, Gratuity, PRP, Cafeteria perquisites, and Company Accommodation as per BEML rules.

Selection Process
Selection will be done in the following stages:
- Online Application Screening: Eligibility check based on qualification, experience, and age.
- Shortlisting & Assessment: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for assessment based on academic record and PQE.
- Pre-Employment Medical Examination & Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates undergo medical examination and original document verification.
Mere meeting eligibility does not guarantee a call for assessment. Management reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates by raising the qualifying percentage.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-speed rail rolling stock systems including bogies, carbody, doors, HVAC, brakes, and interiors
- Prepare interface control documents, interface management plans, and system requirement specifications
- Conduct RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) analyses, FMEA, FMECA, and Fault Tree Analysis
- Build 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CATIA V5 and AutoCAD
- Perform FEA, CFD, and crashworthiness simulations as per international railway standards (EN 12663, EN 15227, IEC 61373)
- Coordinate testing, validation, and commissioning between rolling stock and signalling systems
- Oversee design reviews, technical documentation, type test protocols, and procurement specifications
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to resolve interface issues and meet project timelines
