The recruitment covers 5 Deputy General Manager (Gr-VII) posts and 3 Assistant Manager (Gr-III) posts across Engine Design, Production Planning, Testing & Calibration, Electrical & Electronic, and Analysis domains. Who Can Apply?

For Deputy General Manager (Gr-VII) — Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 2,40,000

• Production Planning: First Class full-time Degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical Engineering. PG Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Management is desirable.
• Engine Design: First Class full-time Degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering. PG in Design/Automobile is desirable.
• Testing and Calibration: First Class full-time Degree in Mechanical / Thermal / Automobile Engineering. PG in Internal Combustion Engine / Thermal / Automobile is desirable.
• Electrical & Electronic: First Class full-time Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• Post Qualification Experience (PQE): Minimum 16 years of relevant experience.

For Assistant Manager (Gr-III) — Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000

• Analysis: First Class full-time Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Automobile. PG in Design/Automobile is preferred.
• Post Qualification Experience (PQE): Minimum 4 years in 1D simulation/FEA structural analysis in automotive components.

Other Requirements

• Only Indian Nationals may apply.
• First class is reckoned at 60% aggregate (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST and PwD).
• Candidates from Central/State Government, PSU, autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel or produce NOC at the time of interview.

Age Limit

• Deputy General Manager (Gr-VII): Upper age limit 45 years (as on 14 May 2026)
• Assistant Manager (Gr-III): Upper age limit 30 years (as on 14 May 2026)
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, additional 10 years for PwD.
• Maximum age with relaxation shall not exceed 57 years.

Salary

• Deputy General Manager (Gr-VII): Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 2,40,000 per month basic pay
• Assistant Manager (Gr-III): Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000 per month basic pay
• Plus Variable Dearness Allowance, Perquisites & Allowances (currently 13.78% of Basic Pay under Cafeteria System)
• Company Accommodation / House Rent Allowance, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Performance Related Pay (PRP) as per BEML rules

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Application Shortlisting: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on qualification and experience.
2. Assessment: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an assessment (the form depends on the position — typically an interview / personal interaction).
3. Document Verification: Original documents will be verified.
4. Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Selected candidates must clear the company medical standard.

• Lead design, development, and product engineering of Rail products, Diesel engines, and rolling stock components
• Handle production planning, master production scheduling, tool planning, and capex budgeting for Rail Projects
• Perform 1D simulation, FEA structural analysis, and linear/non-linear analysis on automotive components
• Manage testing and calibration of internal combustion engines, after-treatment systems, and CRDI systems
• Coordinate Engine R&D with suppliers, stockholders, and cross-functional teams
• Supervise vendor partnerships and ensure adherence to ISO 45001:2018, ISO 3834, EN 15085 standards
• Mentor engineering teams and support Defence R&D for new product development and indigenization
