BEML Limited Executive Recruitment 2026 - 8 Posts
BEML Limited (Bharat Earth Movers Limited), a Government of India Miniratna company under the Ministry of Defence, has released notification for 8 Executive posts in its Rail and Engine Project. The recruitment covers Deputy General Manager (Gr-VII) and Assistant Manager (Gr-III) positions across five disciplines including Production Planning, Engine Design, Testing and Calibration, Electrical & Electronic, and Analysis. Selected candidates will work on Vande Bharat sleeper trains, Metro coaches and Defence engine projects at Bangalore and Mysore.

- Asst. Manager (Gr-III) — Analysis: 3 posts (Mysore)
- Deputy General Manager (Gr-VII) — Engine Design: 2 posts (Mysore) — 1 post backlog reserved for ST

Who Can Apply?
For Deputy General Manager Posts (Grade VII)
- Production Planning: First Class full-time Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Automobile or Electrical. PG Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Management is an added advantage. You need 16 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in the last 10 years in production/planning of Rail products.
- Engine Design: First Class Engineering Degree (full-time) in Mechanical or Automobile. Hands-on experience in diesel engine design and development is required.
- Testing and Calibration: First Class Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Thermal or Automobile. Specialisation in after-treatment selection and integration is a must.
- Electrical & Electronic: First Class Engineering Degree in Electrical or Electronics. System knowledge of electronics and engine emissions with after-treatment systems is required.
For Assistant Manager Posts (Grade III)
- Analysis: First Class Engineering Degree (full-time) in Mechanical or Automobile. PG in Design or Automobile preferred. You need a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in analysis of engine systems like intake, exhaust, fuel system and crank train.
First Class is reckoned at 60% aggregate. Qualifying marks are relaxable by 5% for SC/ST and PwD candidates.
Age Limit
- Assistant Manager (Gr-III): Maximum 30 years
- Deputy General Manager (Gr-VII): Maximum 45 years
- Age, qualification and experience should be as on 14 May 2026
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and an additional 10 years for PwD candidates with minimum 40% disability
- Upper age can also be relaxed for excess post-qualification experience, but maximum age with relaxation cannot exceed 57 years
Salary
- Assistant Manager (Gr-III): Rs. 50,000 - 1,60,000 per month (BEML Pay Scale)
- Deputy General Manager (Gr-VII): Rs. 90,000 - 2,40,000 per month (BEML Pay Scale)
- Plus Variable Dearness Allowance, Cafeteria Allowance (currently 13.78% of Basic Pay), Company Accommodation or HRA, Provident Fund, Gratuity and PRP as per company rules

Selection Process
Selection is done through the following stages:
- Shortlisting: Eligible applications are shortlisted based on qualifications, experience and percentage marks.
- Assessment / Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for assessment which may include written test and personal interview.
- Pre-Employment Medical Examination: You must clear the company medical standards.
- Document Verification: Original certificates including category certificates are verified.
Management reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates and increase qualifying percentage based on number of applications received.

Responsibilities
- Lead production planning and master production schedules for Rail product manufacturing
- Design and develop heavy-duty diesel engines for defence and rail applications
- Handle component evaluation, application engineering and vehicle integration
- Manage engine testing, calibration and after-treatment system integration
- Support new product development including base engine selection and controller selection
- Perform 1D and FEA simulations on engine systems and prepare detailed analysis reports
- Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams and external agencies for design and development
- Ensure compliance with international standards like ISO 45001:2018, ISO 3834 and EN 15085
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
First Class full-time Engineering Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics or Thermal from a recognised University or Institution
Preferred Qualification
PG Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Management; Post Graduate in Design, Automobile or Internal Combustion Engine for relevant posts
Required Skills
Engine design, production planning, FEA simulation, calibration, after-treatment systems, diesel engine development, GD&T, 3D design software, MATLAB/Simulink, GT-Suite, ANSYS
