BEL Advisor (Air) Recruitment 2026 — 1 Post

Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has released advertisement number BEL/HYD/2026-27/01 dated 10 April 2026. The selected advisor will work in hybrid mode from the Delhi Office, with at least 8 working days per month on-site. If you are a retired Air Force officer with deep Electronic Warfare experience, this is a focused, well-paid post-retirement role.

Who Can Apply?

• Background: Retired senior Indian Air Force officer, minimum rank of Group Captain or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 20 years of service in the Indian Air Force with hands-on Electronic Warfare expertise.
• Domain knowledge: Evaluation, functioning, operational utilization, and maintenance of EW Systems.
• Desirable areas: Procurement and contract management of EW systems, installation and testing of ground-based and airborne EW systems, preparation of ORs/QRs/RFPs, integration of EW systems, and at least 3 years as Project Officer of EW Projects.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.
• Vigilance clearance: You must be clear from a vigilance and disciplinary angle at the time of retirement.
• Restriction: If you are bound by a Confidentiality-cum-Non-Compete agreement with a previous employer, you cannot apply.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 62 years as on 01 April 2026.
• Further age relaxation up to your post-retirement experience may be granted at the discretion of the Selection Committee.

Salary

• Basic remuneration: Equal to your last drawn Basic Pay at superannuation from the previous government organisation.
• Annual hike: 5% increase on the last drawn remuneration when the engagement is extended.
• Post-retirement experience: Additional 5% increase per year of relevant post-retirement experience over your last drawn basic.
• Conveyance: Company car provided. If you do not use it, you get Rs. 8,000 per month as conveyance reimbursement.
• TA/DA: Equivalent to GM/ED grade for official journeys within India.
• Accommodation: Guest house during official visits; hotel stays as per TA/DA Rules at GM/ED level when guest house is not available.

• Support EW systems functioning, induction, commissioning, and operational training

• Review warranty and maintenance frameworks for delivered EW systems
• Assist in PFM generation, integration, upgradation, and obsolescence management of EW systems

• Prepare ORs, QRs, RFPs, and technical proposals for EW projects
