Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has released a notification for 58 Nurse Practitioner in Midwifery (NPM) posts on an 11-month contract basis. The posts are for the 24x7 Urban Primary Health Centres run by the AMC Health Department across Ahmedabad. There is no written exam — selection is based on your education and experience merit, followed by an interview or document verification. Trained midwifery nurses can apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Post Basic Diploma in Nurse Practitioner in Midwifery (NPM) from an institute recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.
• Registration: You must be registered with the Gujarat Nursing Council.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years.

Salary

• Fixed monthly salary of Rs. 30,000 per month.
• You also get performance-based incentives as per AMC rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done as follows:

1. Scrutiny of Applications: Applications are shortlisted based on educational merit and experience.
2. Interview / Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates attend a personal interview or document verification.
3. Merit List: A final merit list and a waiting list are prepared for selection.
