AAI (Airports Authority of India) is hiring 36 Graduate and Diploma Apprentices at its Western Region airports in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh. Airports Authority of India, a Miniratna Category-1 Public Sector Enterprise, has released a notification to engage 36 Graduate and Diploma Apprentices under the Apprentices Act at its Regional Headquarters, Western Region, Mumbai. AAI is responsible for creating, upgrading, and managing civil aviation infrastructure across the country, both on the ground and in the air space. The one-year training covers 8 disciplines including Finance, Electrical/Civil, Electronics/Telecommunication, Computer Science/IT, Mechanical Engineering, and HR, spread across airports in Mumbai, Kolhapur, Jamnagar, Jabalpur, Kandla, Bhuj, Diu, Gondia, Solapur, Keshod, and Porbandar. No application fee is charged, but only candidates domicile of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, or Diu residing near the listed airports can apply. Finance discipline has the highest number of openings with 13 posts, making it the biggest opportunity in this drive.

Who Can Apply?

For Graduate Apprentice posts (Stipend: Rs. 15,000/month):

• Finance: B.Com or Bachelor's in Business Administration
• Electrical/Civil: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Civil Engineering
• Electronics/Telecommunication: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering
• IT/Computer Science: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Mechanical Engineering: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
• HR: Any degree with knowledge of computer and administrative work

For Diploma Apprentice posts (Stipend: Rs. 12,000/month):

• Electrical/Civil: Diploma in Electrical or Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering: Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering

• Domicile: You must be domicile of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, or the UT of Diu, and reside near the airport you are applying for.
• Passing Year: You must have passed your Degree/Diploma on or after 1 April 2022. Final-year students awaiting results can also apply.
• Marks: You need a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized institute.
• Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship elsewhere, or have 1 year or more of work experience after their qualification, are not eligible.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 26 years old as on 31 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.

Salary

• Graduate Apprentices will get a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month (Rs. 8,850 from AAI + Rs. 6,150 government share via DBT from BOAT).
• Diploma Apprentices will get a stipend of Rs. 12,000 per month (Rs. 6,550 from AAI + Rs. 5,450 government share via DBT from BOAT).
• The government's share is credited directly to your registered bank account through BOAT.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for these apprentice posts. Selection is based on:

1. Merit List: Based on the percentage of marks in your qualifying examination.
2. Interview and Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates are called through their registered email ID.
3. Medical Fitness Certificate: You must submit a medical fitness certificate from a Gazetted Government Medical Officer at the time of joining.
4. Police Verification: A police verification certificate from your local area of residence is required.

1. Register yourself as a Student/Apprentice on the NATS 2.0 portal at nats.education.gov.in (or moenats.aicte-india.org).
2. Complete your enrollment/registration and get your profile verified on the Regional BOAT portal — this step is your own responsibility.
3. Apply against the AAI advertisement shown on your dashboard, under your desired trade.
4. Your documents are verified by BOAT before your application reaches AAI, Regional Headquarters, Western Region (Establishment No. WMHMCC000058), for final processing.
5. Apply for only one discipline — applying for more than one discipline will get your application rejected.

Note: AAI is under no obligation to offer regular employment after your apprenticeship ends. This training builds your practical skills and experience, and successful apprentices become exempt from application fees for future AAI recruitment.
