The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Deoghar is an Institute of National Importance set up by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana. It has re-advertised 1 post of Project Technical Support-II under the ICMR research grant IIRPIG-2024-01-02138. The project — "Effectiveness of Multiphase FNAC Training Aided by Telepathology (MFAT) Among Health Officers at Primary Care Level in Improving the Extra Pulmonary Tuberculosis Diagnosis" — aims to train primary-care health officers to use FNAC and telepathology so that extra-pulmonary tuberculosis is caught earlier. The role sits under the Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine. This is a contractual post with no written exam — you just attend the walk-in interview with your documents and appear before the selection committee.

Who Can Apply?

You can apply if you meet any one of the two routes below:

• Route 1: Passed 12th class in science with a Diploma (MLT / DMLT / Engineering or equivalent) and have 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Route 2: A 3-year graduate degree in the relevant subject or field with 2 years of experience in the relevant subject.

Tip: keep your experience certificates and your diploma or degree marksheets ready, as your years of relevant experience are checked closely at the walk-in.

The prescribed qualification is the minimum needed — meeting it alone does not guarantee selection. You may be posted at field sites and may need to travel to study locations in various districts of Jharkhand, including rural areas.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 30 years (as on the last date of application submission).
• Age Relaxation: SC, ST, and OBC candidates get relaxation as per Government of India norms.
• OBC candidates must carry a non-creamy layer certificate valid for the financial year 2026-27, issued on or after 1 April 2026.

Salary

• You will get Rs. 20,000 per month (fixed) plus HRA (House Rent Allowance) as admissible.
• This is a consolidated project pay under the ICMR research grant.

Job Tenure & Conditions

• The post is contractual and purely temporary for a period of 11 months, extendable up to a maximum of three more years based on performance, or till the project ends — whichever is earlier.
• Your performance will be reviewed every six months. If it is not found satisfactory, the contract can be ended with one month's notice or one month's stipend in lieu.
• This engagement gives you no right to a regular job at AIIMS Deoghar.
• No TA/DA (travel money) will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection happens at the walk-in itself, in these steps:

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend the interview in person at AIIMS Deoghar on 22 July 2026 (Wednesday). Reporting time is 9:00 AM.

The decision of the competent authority on selection is final. No application, online or offline, will be accepted before the interview date.
