The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the research wing of Tata Memorial Centre, a Grant-In-Aid Institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. ACTREC has released advertisement No. ACTREC/ADVT.97/2026 for engaging an Ad-hoc Consultant in Uro Oncology at its Kharghar campus. Selection is through Walk-in or Zoom Interview only - there is no written exam. Doctors with a post-graduate degree in Urology or Surgical Oncology recognized by the National Medical Commission can apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Educational Qualification: You must have an M.Ch (Urology) or M.Ch (Surgical Oncology) or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the National Medical Commission.
• Essential Experience: You need a minimum of 1 year of experience in Urology, either during your M.Ch training or after completing M.Ch.

Salary

• Consolidated salary: Rs. 1,40,000 to Rs. 1,52,000 per month

• Initial engagement: 6 months
• Can be extended based on the requirements of ACTREC

Selection Process

Selection will be made through a Walk-in Interview or Zoom Interview. There is no written exam.

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend the interview in person at Paymaster Shodhika, Recruitment Cell, Room No. PS-330, ACTREC, Sector-22, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai - 410 210. Reporting time is 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Carry your bio-data, recent passport size photograph, and Xerox copies of Aadhar Card, PAN Card, educational qualification certificates, and working experience certificates.
2. Zoom Interview: If you cannot attend in person, send an email requesting a Zoom interview to recruitment@actrec.gov.in along with your bio-data, self-attested copies of date of birth proof, recent passport size photograph, scanned copies of PAN Card, qualification certificates, and experience certificates. The email must reach ACTREC on or before 26 May 2026 (Tuesday), 5:00 p.m.

• Handle uro-oncology patient consultations, evaluations, and treatment planning at ACTREC
• Assist in surgical procedures and post-operative care for urological cancer patients
• Work alongside the Surgical Oncology team on complex urological cancer cases
• Maintain proper clinical records and case documentation
• Participate in multi-disciplinary tumor board meetings and case discussions
• Contribute to clinical research projects in urological oncology
• Educate junior doctors and trainees in uro-oncology techniques
