The Centre for Film and Electronic Media Studies at Madurai Kamaraj University has invited eligible candidates for a walk-in interview to engage 1 Guest Faculty for the M.Sc. Film and Electronic Media Studies programme during the Academic Year 2026-2027. The position is for handling postgraduate classes on a consolidated pay basis as per University norms. Preference will be given to candidates specializing in Film Production, Television Production, Radio Production, or New Media, and to those with relevant teaching or industry experience.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: M.Sc. Film and Electronic Media Studies, M.A. Journalism and Mass Communication, M.Sc. Visual Communication, or any other relevant postgraduate degree in the discipline.
• UGC Eligibility: You must fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the UGC for appointment as Assistant Professor/Guest Faculty.
