Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) Consultant Software System Architect Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), through its Centre In North East (CINE) located at the Research Park Building, IIT Guwahati, Amingaon, Assam, has released a notification for 4 Consultant posts in the Software System Architect domain. This is a part-time, contract-based engagement for 6 months from the date of joining or completion of the project, whichever comes first. C-DAC CINE can terminate the contract at any time with one month's notice, and any further extension will be entirely at C-DAC's discretion. As a Consultant, you will handle solution design and architecture reviews, guide the technical team, and act as a liaison between technical, functional, and business teams. Only shortlisted candidates are called for an offline interview, and the applicant with the highest overall evaluation score gets selected and issued an engagement order. Experienced software architects with strong full-stack and DevOps skills should apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in CSE/ECE/EEE/IT (or a related field) with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, OR M.E./M.Tech/Postgraduate degree in CSE/EEE/ECE/IT with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, OR a Ph.D. (all but thesis) in a relevant discipline.
• Experience: You need 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience.
• Programming & Frameworks: Proficiency in Java, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL, and the Spring Framework, along with hands-on full-stack web application development experience.
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of data-centric solutions infrastructure, including clustered/distributed computing, storage, and networking.
• Deployment Experience: Experience deploying large distributed and centralized applications, along with expertise in performance tuning, scalability, design, build, test, and deployment.
• DevOps: Experience with DevOps processes, tools, and implementation.

Age Limit

• You should not be older than 56 years as on 01 June 2026.

Salary

• There is no fixed pay scale for this post. Your monthly remuneration will be fixed as per industry standards, based on your experience and how you perform in the interview.
• Attendance is recorded on a monthly basis, and payment follows the same cycle.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Screening of Applications: C-DAC checks your resume and supporting documents against the eligibility criteria. Applications missing mandatory documents can be summarily rejected, or you may be asked to resubmit documents if C-DAC finds it necessary.
2. Offline Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for an in-person interview at CINE, Guwahati. The candidate with the highest overall evaluation score is selected and issued an engagement order.

C-DAC reserves the right to set its own evaluation criteria and disqualify any applicant based on the fixed criteria — its decision is final and binding.
