UPSSSC ASO & ARO Recruitment 2026 — 929 Vacancies

UPSSSC has updated Advertisement No. 05-Exam/2026 for Assistant Statistical Officer (ASO) and Assistant Research Officer (Statistics) posts. The total vacancies are now 1,565 after the official notice dated 08 May 2026. Online application, fee deposit and registration can now be completed up to 15 May 2026. Fee adjustment and application correction can be completed up to 22 May 2026.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Post-graduate degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Commerce, Economics, Statistics or an accepted equivalent subject.
• Computer requirement: DOEACC/NIELIT O Level certificate or equivalent computer qualification.
• PET requirement: UPSSSC PET 2025 score card is required for this main examination recruitment.
• Language: Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script is required.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 21 years.
• Maximum age: 40 years.

• Relaxation: Applicable as per Uttar Pradesh government rules for eligible reserved categories.
