The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has released Advertisement No. 13-Exam/2026 for the Sugarcane Supervisor Main Examination (P0A0P0-2025)/14. This recruitment covers 1000 regular posts and 182 special selection (backlog) posts under the control of the Sugarcane and Sugar Establishment of Uttar Pradesh. Only candidates who appeared in and qualified the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 can apply for this Main Examination.

Who Can Apply?

• Educational Qualification: You must have a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science from any university established by law in India.
• Computer Knowledge: You must hold the CCC certificate issued by DOEACC / NIELIT.
• PET 2025 Qualified: You must have appeared in the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and received a valid score card.
• Domicile: Reservation benefits for SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories are available only to Uttar Pradesh domicile candidates.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 40 years
• Age will be counted as on 1 July 2026 (1st July of the calendar year of advertisement).
• Age Relaxation: SC, ST and other notified categories of Uttar Pradesh get age relaxation as per UP Government rules in force from time to time.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary in Pay Level 4 of the 7th Pay Commission.
• Pay band ranges from Rs. 25,500 (minimum) to Rs. 81,100 (maximum) per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Uttar Pradesh government rules.

Application Fee

• Unreserved / OBC / SC / ST (all categories): Application fee Rs. 0 plus online processing fee Rs. 25 = Total Rs. 25
• Dependants of Freedom Fighters, Ex-Servicemen, Women, PwBD and Outstanding Sports persons pay the fee of their original category.
• Main Exam fee is separate and will be paid by shortlisted candidates before downloading the admit card.
• Payment Mode: Online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI E-Challan.

Selection Process

Selection will be done in the following stages:

1. PET 2025 Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the normalised score of the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025. Candidates with zero or negative scores will not be shortlisted.
2. Main Written Examination: 100 multiple choice questions for 100 marks, duration 120 minutes (2 hours). Negative marking of 1/4 (0.25) per wrong answer.
3. Document Verification: Original documents will be verified before final selection.

How to Apply

2. Click on the Live Advertisement section and select Advertisement No. 13-Exam/2026.
3. Login using your PET 2025 Registration Number through OTP sent to your registered mobile/email.
4. Fill in your essential qualification details, board/university name, certificate number and other required information.
5. Select the posts you want to apply for and set your preferences.
6. Check the declaration, enter the verification code and click Save and Submit.
7. Pay the online processing fee of Rs. 25 through Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI or SBI E-Challan.
8. After successful fee adjustment, download and print your application form for future reference.

• Supervise sugarcane cultivation activities in the assigned area and guide farmers on best practices
• Monitor sugarcane crop health and advise farmers on pest control, irrigation and fertilizer use
• Maintain records of cane area, yield estimates, supply contracts and farmer registrations
• Coordinate with sugar mills for cane procurement, supply calendars and payment schedules
• Inspect cane fields, weigh-bridges and purchase centres to make sure rules are followed
• Help farmers get loans, subsidies and improved seed varieties through cooperative cane societies
• Submit periodic reports to senior officers of the Sugarcane Department
