Tata Memorial Hospital, a leading cancer care institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has invited applications for 1 Scientific Officer (Speech & Swallowing Therapy) post through its facility management partner, M/s. A-1 Facility and Property Managers Pvt. Ltd. The role is initially for one year on contract and focuses on advanced speech and swallowing rehabilitation for cancer patients, including Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Videofluoroscopy Services (VFS). This is an excellent opportunity for speech-language pathologists who want to specialize in oncology and head & neck rehabilitation.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Master of Speech Language Pathology (M.Sc. SLP) or Master of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (MASLP)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience after your PG is desirable, ideally in a specialized cancer hospital or reputed hospital with experience in advanced speech and swallowing rehabilitation
• You should be able to independently run Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Videofluoroscopy Services (VFS) jointly with the Radiology team
• You should be able to run Dysphagia Services for chemo-radiotherapy patients and work jointly with Head & Neck Surgeons on Surgical Voice Restoration
• Special interest in developing Dysphagia Rehabilitation Services for Thoracic Cancer and Post-Thoracic Surgery patients is preferred.

Candidates who are freshers with the right academic background can also apply, though preference during shortlisting typically goes to those who already have some exposure to oncology or ENT-related speech and swallowing rehabilitation work.

Salary

• Freshers: Rs. 60,000 per month
• 1-2 years' experience: Rs. 65,000 per month
• 3 years & above experience: Rs. 70,000 per month

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:
