About This Job
Project Manager vacancy in TMC Cancer Epidemiology Centre. Master's degree eligible. Salary Rs 45,000/month. Walk-in interview on 11 Aug 2026.
Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is hiring a Project Manager at its Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CCE), ACTREC, in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. If you have a Master's degree in Science or Public Health with a computer course in office software, you can attend the walk-in interview on 11 August 2026. This is a project post with a fixed pay of Rs. 45,000 per month for an initial 6-month duration.
Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) Project Manager Recruitment 2026
The Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CCE) functions under the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), the research and academic wing of Tata Memorial Centre. ACTREC is located at the foothills of the Sahyadri range in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, and carries out basic, clinical, and translational research in cancer biology. TMC itself traces its roots to the Indian Cancer Research Centre, founded in 1952, and is recognised as India's first comprehensive cancer treatment, research, and education centre, functioning as a grant-in-aid institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.
CCE has released Advertisement No. CCE/Advt./250/2026 for the post of Project Manager on a project basis. This is a walk-in interview — there is no separate online application form, and no written exam is involved. As Project Manager, you will handle Cancer Registry data management, review relevant literature, prepare reports, and provide technical assistance to the Principal Investigator in field management and supervision of field staff. Cancer registry work like this feeds into India's population-based cancer surveillance efforts, so it's a meaningful role for anyone interested in public health research.
Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: Master's degree in Science or Public Health, along with a computer course in office software.
- Preferred Experience: Candidates with at least one year of experience in data analysis, cancer registry operation, or clinical research will be given preference.
- Citizenship: The notification is open to candidates who can attend the walk-in interview in person at Navi Mumbai on the scheduled date.
Salary
- Selected candidates will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 45,000 per month.
- This is a project post, so the pay is fixed for the duration of the engagement; no separate allowances (DA/HRA) are mentioned in the notification.
- The engagement is initially for 6 months, or till the project continues, whichever is earlier — the project may be extended based on funding and performance.
Selection Process (No Written Exam)
Selection is done directly through a walk-in interview, with no separate written test:
- Document Scrutiny: Your original certificates and testimonials are checked at the venue before the interview.
- Walk-In Interview: A panel assesses your qualification, experience, and suitability for the Project Manager post on the spot.
