Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), a Grant-in-Aid institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has invited applications for 1 Counselor post at its Centre for Cancer Epidemiology, ACTREC, Kharghar (Advt. No. CCE/Advt/199/2026). This is a project-based, contractual position initially for 6 months or till the continuation of the project, whichever is earlier, for a helpline that receives calls from Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa as part of TMC's cancer and tobacco-control outreach work. No written test is required — you can walk straight into the interview with your documents on the scheduled date.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Graduate in Psychology, Social Work, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university.
• Preferred: Postgraduate degree in Psychology or Master's in Social Work with specialization in medical & psychiatric social work.
• Language: You must be fluent in Hindi, English, and at least one regional language — Marathi, Konkani, or Gujarati — since the project handles calls from across these states.
• Computer Knowledge: Basic computer application skills are essential.
• Experience: Candidates with prior experience in Tobacco Control work will be given preference.

Salary

• Graduates will get Rs. 30,000 per month.
• Postgraduates will get Rs. 35,000 per month.
