Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is hiring a Scientific Assistant for the Microbiology Lab at ACTREC (Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer), Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. ACTREC is TMC's dedicated cancer research wing under the Department of Atomic Energy, and this lab role supports its diagnostics and research work. ACTREC works alongside TMC's broader hospital network — including regional cancer centres in Varanasi, Punjab, Muzaffarpur and Visakhapatnam — that together handle patient care and research across the country. The post is filled on contract through M/s A-1 Facility and Property Managers Pvt. Ltd., TMC's outsourcing partner, via a walk-in interview — no online application is needed. Candidates with a year of diagnostics lab experience get preference, but the role is open to fresh postgraduates too.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The contract runs for six months from the date of joining and is extendable as per requirement.
• Employment type: You will be on the payroll of A-1 Facility and Property Managers Pvt. Ltd., deployed at TMC-ACTREC, not a direct TMC employee.
• Age relaxation: The upper age limit can be relaxed for candidates with relevant experience.
